This wine is too good for toast-drinking, my dear. You don't want to mix emotions up with a wine like that. You lose the taste.

I had a severe herniated disc towards my spine in my neck. C6-c7. I had the disc replacement surgery dec 6, 2012! Back on October I was suffering from striking pain, numbness, tingling in my left arm and fingers and muscle weakness!

I hear the neck ones are worse.  I had a friend in a car accident that had a herniated disk in her neck and needed surgery.  Mine is in my lumbar and those are much more likely to be treated with physical therapy.  Good luck to you on your recovery!!

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

I’ve always suffered from sleep paralysis and horrible nightmares.  The sleep paralysis seems to be a pretty common sleep disorder, and coupled with the vivid imagination, i suppose that’s what trigged my nightmares.  Otherwise I had a pretty happy childhood.

Anyway I have a pretty vivid memory of being in my crib and having some sort of nightmare/episode.  I saw the mobile above me and as it turned it morphed into horrific demonic faces.  I remember screaming and crying until one of my parents came to fetch me.  What is weird about this is that the crib I remember is not in any photograph that exists of me, and when I describe it to my parents including the overall location of it in the room, they agree that its accurate.

The sleep paralysis is not something I remember as part of that particular memory, but every other memory that sticks out has to do with waking up and not being able to move.  I thought it was a recurring nightmare until my early twenties when I heard about the condition.

The only other memory from my childhood was being at a sitters house, I may have been 3 or 4, and running down the hall to meet my mom and bonking my head after tripping. I remember what the apartment looked like and I also remember the sitter trying to hide my pacifier.
