This wine is too good for toast-drinking, my dear. You don't want to mix emotions up with a wine like that. You lose the taste.

The Digitas NewFront is BACK! On May 2nd, check out one of the industry’s biggest events of the year, where brands meet the inventors, instigators, and doers who are breaking ground in digital content. Now in our sixth year, we’re excited to feature speakers from some of the biggest brands and innovators around, including Twitter, Tumblr, Harley-Davidson, The Huffington Post, and more. Plus, once again we’re collaborating with some of the leading names in digital—AOL, Google/YouTube, Hulu, the IAB, Microsoft Advertising, Yahoo!, and more—as a part of the Digital Content NewFronts.

And for this year’s theme? Discover what we mean when we say: Your Brand is Alive. The 2013 Digitas NewFront will explore how brands today no longer live campaign to campaign but moment to moment. Join us for conversations about brands, content, and context - in real time. Watch it all live on www.digitasnewfront.com.

Here’s some other ways that you can get involved:

I squealed with delight when I saw some coworkers unboxing a 3-D printer.

Waiting for it to cook was a cross between making cake in an easy bake oven, and getting a wax dolphin at sea world.

Takeover Tuesday!

Thank god I’m a virtual and IRL pack rat.  This is a project I pitched and executed called takeover Tuesday.  Once a month in alignment with an artists album release date, they would take over my job and curate the music on MTV.com.

Man, I sure made a lot of power point decks.

I’ve been published!  Sort of.
Two of the pictures I took as part of our Community Service Day were published in Ad Age this summer.  Sure it was an online blurb, but its a start!

One of the bigger stunts I developed at MTV was this Fort Minor Video remake contest.  We were just beginning to notice the use of YouTube in user generated content, specifically fan made music videos, and wanted to do something similar on MTV.com.
Fort Minor, a side product of Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, had a very committed fan base that was very tech-savy.  I partnered with Warner Brothers Records to mobilize their fan base in this promotion where fans can create videos using the Fort Minor hit “Where’d You Go.”
The finalists were voted on by the MTV.com audience and the final winner chosen by Mike himself.  The prize package included a video taped congratulatory message from Mike, a shout out on TRL, and video premiere treatment and promotion of the winning video.
